Parks

Enriching the community by creating parks for reflection, gathering, and play.

Parks support the Foundation’s mission by bringing social, environmental, and health benefits to Beeville residents both young and old. A free place to gather, parks allow children to constantly learn through play, shared experiences, exercise, and nature.

Parks created by the Foundation include:

  • The Joe Barnhart Park, surrounding the Beeville Art Museum, and featuring a Little Free Library, reflection pond, four sculptures and a bocce court.

  • The Wilhelmina Barnhart Park, adjacent to the courthouse square

  • The Jack Bace Park, next to the Beeville Community Center

  • The Margaret Moser Butterfly Garden, located in the Jack Bace Park
